An eSIM consists of two components:

1. The eSIM chip is permanently installed in the device and stores eSIM profiles.
2. The eSIM profile is your personal SIM profile and contains all the required information. You simply download your profile to your device; the download process differs depending on your device.

How can I set up my eSIM profile?

If you have signed up for a rate with an eSIM Digital voucher for an eSIM-compatible device, you will receive an Activation Code (QR code) from my Lebara, which is available in your my Lebara customer account under «My Settings». On Apple iPhones, the process of scanning the QR code to load the eSIM profile is carried out under Settings – Cellular or Mobile Data – Add Cellular Plan. Please refer to your device’s operating instructions for further information.

I have deleted my eSIM profile. What should I do?

You can download your eSIM profile to the same device again for free. To do so, please use your eSIM voucher. If you have an eSIM Digital voucher, you can view and scan the Activation Code (QR code) in my Lebara again.

Note: If you switch to a different provider, your Lebara eSIM profile becomes inactive and unusable.
